Point B Named a 2024 Best for Vets Employer
< AwardsWe are proud to be named to the 2024 Best for Vets: Employers list by Military Times, an editorially independent program that produces a highly respected analysis of a company’s efforts to recruit, retain and support current and former service members, military spouses and military caregivers. Our firm was named the #2 Best Medium Employer and was overall ranked 100 out of 238 employers profiled.
This honor reflects the deep commitment and influence Point B veterans and Point Bravo, our employee-led business resource group for veterans and military spouses, have in shaping the employee experience for veterans and the military community.
“We are honored to be included in this year’s Military Times, Best for Vets: Employers List. I would like to personally thank the Point B team for their continued support and partnership with Point Bravo, our Veteran Business Resource Group,” says Vincent Tarantino, Point Bravo leader. “Without their dedication this distinction would not have become a reality.”
The Military Times Best for Vets: Employers ranking is based on a rigorous, voluntary survey that assesses companies on their policies, practices, and benefits for veterans and their families.
This year’s list showcases significant movement among companies, reflecting a high standard that more organizations are striving toward in their support for military employees, candidates, and families. With 62 new employers joining the ranks, the list consists of 238 companies in 2024. The increase in diversity within the rankings suggests that the Best for Vets program is not only influencing companies to enhance their military support programs but is also raising the benchmark for veteran employment across industries.
“For over a decade, Military Times has set the gold standard in employer rankings for transitioning service members and veterans. Although often imitated, no other list comes close to Best for Vets: Employers,” says Jon Simkins, Executive Editor of Sightline Media Group. “The rigorous, unbiased analysis that goes into this survey has created a competitive environment where companies recognize the value of veterans and military families and seek to reflect that in their policies and programs.”
The survey captures the areas of greatest importance to transitioning service members, veterans, and their families when evaluating potential employers. Emphasis is placed on recruitment and employment practices, alongside retention and support programs, which carry significant weight in scoring and final rankings. Military Times’ data experts objectively analyzed each company’s submission, ensuring that results reflect a thorough and impartial assessment.
