Senior Associate George Kousaros joined Point B's Southern California market in March 2015. He believes one of Point B's biggest strengths is our Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP), which makes every employee truly care about the growth of our firm. Similarly, Point B truly cares for its employees, placing a high value on each employee's career goals and well-being.

Why did you join Point B?

I joined because Point B aligns with my interests in career development, professional networking and making a tangible impact to a company. Consulting at Point B supports my interest of gaining a wide variety of work experiences and developing a vast network of people to support your goals. Being in an ESOP makes you truly vested in the growth and advancement of the company.

How would you describe the culture at Point B?

I believe in Point B’s focus on hiring those who have a passion for life and this can be seen in our culture. Every consultant focuses on providing excellent client service delivery and the firm ensures there are plenty of opportunities to give back and foster a culture of fun with your fellow associates. From the watering holes to the Getaways to the volunteer events, this is the most active and well-round group of individuals I’ve ever worked with.

What is your favorite thing about Point B?

My favorite thing about Point B is that it’s a “choose your adventure” type of company. Your experience is truly what you make of it. Do you want to be involved in Growing Our Business (GOB)/sales? Go for it! Are you interested in marketing ops? Done! The first questions asked of me during orientation were about what I wanted, what type of work I was interested in and what hours was I looking to work. I was never asked anything like that in any previous role, even after years of being there. There’s a wide variety of experiences Point B can provide and it’s great to have the option to pursue them if you so choose.

What are you able to do in your downtime with the work/life balance at Point B?

I’m able to stay physically active via exercising, hiking or playing intramural sports. This is quite helpful if you’re a foodie at heart. It also allows time (and energy!) to catch up in person with friends or conduct GOB networking with past colleagues and new ones.

How would you describe Point B to a friend who’s interested in joining?

It’s a company filled with smart people, whom you can learn from and also want to hang out with. It’s a company that places a high value on your career goals and well-being. The company recognizes that if you’re happy at home, it shines through your work and vice versa. It’s a place where you have an entire company as a network to leverage in your assignment or any initiative you’re working on. These are values every company should have but Point B actually does.
