Why did you join Point B?
I was drawn to Point B because of the culture and how we are given the space to foster and develop an entrepreneurial spirit. Since I have joined, I have been encouraged to take on leadership roles and contribute to many different initiatives as an emerging leader.
How would you describe the culture at Point B?
If I had to pick one word to describe the culture at Point B, I would say “supportive.” Since joining Point B, I truly feel like both my personal and professional goals are supported by leadership, account teams, and peers.
Besides your client service delivery role, how else do you stay involved at Point B?
I have been able to get involved in leadership roles, including leading the emerging leaders team and the Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) Community for the national team.
How does Point B help you achieve your career goals?
The one-on-one mentorship program at Point B has allowed me to freely discuss my professional career goals with a member of our leadership team. Having an advocate and knowledge partner to brainstorm the next steps in my Point B story has made a significant impact on how I view my client work, internal leadership opportunities, and Point B brand. This is one of many examples of how the personable culture has helped shape my career outlook.
What are you able to do in your downtime with the work/life balance at Point B?
I have always had a strong passion for staying involved in the community. Thanks to Point B’s support in pursing my growth outside of the firm, I was able to use my stipend towards membership fees for Jr. League of Chicago!
