Phoenix, AZ -
Point B, Inc., an integrated management consulting, venture investment, and real estate development firm has expanded its engagement in Arizona with the purchase of two buildings at 815 and 829 North 1st Avenue in Phoenix. The Point B team plans to thoughtfully reenergize and update interiors and common areas of the properties, which will be branded as the “Hardware Store,” to offer tenants creative office space in proximity to downtown and the Roosevelt Row neighborhood.
“The opportunity to contribute to the continued evolution of the Roosevelt Row neighborhood is exciting for us,” said Point B Property Development Principal Heather Personne. “We’re known for our work with creative office spaces in dense urban markets, and we’re glad to bring Phoenix the same unique mix of development and real estate solutions as we have to other cities around the country.”
“Point B’s new properties are located in the downtown Phoenix vibrant Roosevelt Row District,” said Cushman and Wakefield's Mark Stratz. “They offer tenants turn-of-the-century architecture, light rail access and a robust collection of local restaurant options at their doorstep.”
With a focus on real estate development in urban growth centers, Point B has also partnered with Free Arts for Abused Children of Arizona, serving as the owner’s representative for their new headquarters near Central Avenue and Camelback Road, which has been named the Valley’s “hottest intersection” by the Urban Land Institute of Arizona. A grant from The Bob & Renee Parsons Foundation enabled Free Arts for Abused Children of Arizona to purchase the building, which features major renovations to accommodate onsite programming, staff and volunteer growth, a community center that can be utilized for training, workshops and events, and space to rent for Arizona tenants. Point B has a long-standing relationship with Free Arts for Abused Children of Arizona and is helping the organization build its next chapter by serving on their board and supporting its many creative and therapeutic arts programs and property development needs.
Point B is both a developer and a real estate solutions and services provider. Whether developing for our own account or on behalf of others, our goal is to make a positive long-term impact on the communities in which we work while creating exceptional value and returns for our stakeholders.
